Straight answers

Questions Howell offices ask before they call.

“Do you have an office in Howell?”

No. Our one office is in Borough Park, Brooklyn, about 52 miles away. Nothing in the switch needs a visit, and the people who build your system are the ones who answer your calls. Cabling, if the office needs it, stays with your electrician or IT company.

“What does it cost for twelve phones?”

$29.95 per seat a month with every feature in every seat, so twelve seats come to $359.40. New Jersey adds no sales tax and the federal telecom fees are included, so nothing else is on the bill for the seats. Phones are optional and bought once.

“Our numbers are 732. Do they stay the same?”

Yes. 732 and 848 numbers port in at no charge, landline or cell. The two codes cover the same ground and dial the same way, with ten digits, and they are not expected to run out of numbers until about 2051.

“Our mailing address says Farmingdale. Is that Howell?”

Often it is. Howell surrounds the Borough of Farmingdale, and about a quarter of the township uses the Farmingdale 07727 ZIP, Howell High School among them. The service, the price and the numbers are the same either way.

“Will it run on our internet?”

Yes. The phones run on the connection you have. Optimum and Verizon hold Howell’s cable franchises, and the FCC’s data shows fiber from both in Ramtown and Farmingdale. We do not sell internet or routers, so your IT company keeps the network.

“Can the phones close early on Friday and for holidays?”

Yes. A single schedule in the portal holds your hours, the Friday early close and the holidays, and each menu, group and queue follows it. We can record the holiday greetings before each season and swap them on, and your usual greeting returns after.

“Who answers when we call you?”

A person on our team at 718.395.1550, by call, text or WhatsApp, or by email at office@vocatech.com. We answer Monday to Thursday 9 to 5 and Friday 9 to 12, weekends are for emergencies, and after hours our AI Agent takes the message.

“Is there a contract or a trial?”

Neither. You pay month to month with no early-termination fee, and your numbers leave with you whenever you go. In place of a trial, a person shows you the system on your own calls and sets it up the way you want.
