This page is for customers on Vocatech's WebSafety internet filtering service. The roaming client protects a computer on and off the office network. It is not part of the phone system, and a phone customer does not need it.
Cisco now requires a new method for deploying the Secure Client (formerly AnyConnect) to support Umbrella Roaming. Follow these steps for the client to work properly. Moving the client to a different computer also means uninstalling it from the old one.

Download the installer
Run the file labeled setup (make sure it is the application file, not the HTML application).
During setup, only check the following options:
- Umbrella Roaming Security
- Diagnostic and Reporting Tool
Uncheck everything else.
Add the OrgInfo.json file
After the installation is complete, download the OrgInfo.json file below. This small file connects the client to our organization.
If we emailed you the file, that copy works the same way.
Important: If you have downloaded the file multiple times, make sure the name is exactly OrgInfo.json (not OrgInfo (1).json or similar).
Place the file in the correct folder
- Press Windows + R
- Type:
%ProgramData%\Cisco\Cisco Secure Client\Umbrellaand press Enter - Move the
OrgInfo.jsonfile into that folder - Click Continue if prompted for administrator permission
Finalize
After dragging the OrgInfo.json file into the folder, you can close the window.
Wait a few minutes. Umbrella should start working automatically. If it does not start, restart the computer.
