The short answer
Recommended setup
Two pieces. The AudioCodes gateway connects to your network and gives you analog ports. The Algo door phone plugs into one of those ports with a simple wire run. When someone presses the call button, it rings a group you choose. You can also call the door phone from any extension for a two-way conversation. Buy the gateway through Vocatech and it ships ready to go.

Two FXS ports so you can connect two devices. Buy through Vocatech and it ships configured. Plug it into your network and it works. Need four ports? Ask about the MP-114.

Bring your own device
If your installer has a preferred door phone or intercom, we can provide SIP registration through a third-party service. That service has documentation for popular devices from major manufacturers. Your installer configures the device using their documentation. When someone presses the button, it calls a number that routes to whatever group you set up. We also assign an extension so you can call out to the device from any phone.
This is a good option for shared buildings, multi-tenant setups, access-controlled entrances, or any situation where the installer already knows which hardware they want. Contact us and we will set up the registration credentials.
What we configure and what we do not
We configure the AudioCodes gateway and the phone system routing. We do not configure third-party SIP devices. If you bring your own device, your installer handles the device setup using the third-party documentation we provide. The Algo 3228 with our configured gateway is the only combination we support end to end.
