Callpop

What Callpop does

A quick tour of the desktop popup and CRM links.

3 min

Callpop is a small Windows tray app. When your phone rings, a tidy popup slides in on your screen with the caller's name, company, and one-click shortcuts to your CRM. It appears before you pick up, not after, so you can read the context in the two seconds between the first ring and the second.

It is not a softphone. It does not replace Webex. It sits alongside your call app and does one thing very well.

What it shows

The popup has a few zones. Caller name and number at the top. A fields area with whatever your company chose to display. Quick-link buttons to your CRM. Minimal controls at the bottom.

The fields can show account status, last invoice, next appointment, or whatever else matters in your workflow. We configure this during onboarding based on the CRM you use.

Push, not pull

Most caller-ID tools look up the number when the phone rings. That takes one or two seconds, which is exactly the wrong time to wait. Callpop is push-based. Our servers know the caller before your phone does and send the popup down to your machine immediately.

No login delay. No lookup spinner. The popup is there before the second ring.

CRM quick-links

One-click buttons open the matching record in your CRM. Salesforce, QuickBooks, HubSpot, HHAeXchange are all supported out of the box. Other CRMs work too if they have a URL pattern we can match to the caller number.

If there is no matching record, the popup shows a search button instead. One click opens your CRM's search page with the number pre-filled.

Windows only

Callpop runs on Windows. Mac support is not currently available. If your team is on Mac, the Webex app still shows the caller number and history on the call screen itself.

The installer is small and lives in the system tray. Very light. Most people forget it is running.

Who should run it

Anyone who takes inbound calls and wants context. Receptionists, salespeople, dispatchers, account managers. If you open the CRM every time the phone rings, Callpop saves you the search.

If your role is mostly outbound, Callpop is still useful because it shows history on the numbers you call.
