Text & WhatsApp email generator

Builds the mailto link to send a text or WhatsApp message through the Vocatech email gateway. Fill in both numbers, hit Generate email, and your default mail client opens with the right address pre-filled.

Two rules. Send the email from the address registered for the sending number, mail from any other mailbox is refused. And leave the subject line exactly as generated. An edited subject will not go through.

Troubleshooting on a PC+
Gmail isn’t the default email client
  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Go to Default Programs → Set your default programs.
  3. Find your browser (e.g. Google Chrome) and set it as default.
  4. Save.
Mailto link doesn’t open in Gmail
  1. In Chrome, open Settings → Privacy and security → Site Settings → Additional permissions → Protocol handlers.
  2. Make sure “Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols” is on.
  3. Refresh Gmail. If a diamond icon appears in the address bar, click it and Allow mail.google.com.
