The trial is free from the day you sign up through the end of the same month. The 1st of the next month, billing starts.
That is the whole thing. No credit card authorization at midnight. No surprise renewal fee. Just a normal first invoice on the 1st.
The trial
You get the full platform during trial. Not a limited version. The same Webex app, the same admin portal, the same recording, the same AI. Whatever you need to evaluate the system is on.
Sign up on the 3rd of a month, you get until the 30th free. Sign up on the 28th, you get three free days. Either way, billing starts on the next 1st.
Your first invoice
On the 1st, you get an invoice for $29.95 per extension for the month ahead.
If you have add-ons (a user DID with messaging at $4.95, a fax line at $14.95, an extra routing number at $4.95), those appear as separate line items. New York customers also see state sales tax. Everyone else pays only the flat rate: no telecom surcharges, no regulatory fees, nothing else.
How billing runs
We offer two billing terms.
- Automated. Your card on file is charged on the 1st. If a charge fails, we retry automatically over a few days. Most customers are on this.
- Check terms. Invoice goes out on the 1st, payment is due 10 days later. For customers who prefer to cut a check or run payments through accounts payable.
Pick whichever fits your bookkeeping. Tell us during onboarding. You can switch anytime.
If something changes
Vocatech is month to month. No contract.
Add a user, drop a user, add a fax line, turn on recording, the invoice reflects it next month. There is no self-service card-update portal yet. If your card changes, email billing@vocatech.com. A real person updates it and confirms.
If you ever want to leave, you give us notice and we port your numbers out to the new provider. No exit fee. No hostage number holding.
